Community Projects Coordinator Kseniia

Hello, Kseniia! Please introduce yourself.

My name is Kseniia. I am from Ukraine, now I live in the Poltava - city in the central Ukraine. I studied at the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, I have a diploma in the specialty of computerized control systems and automation. In my free time, I draw on clothes, and also practice and teach pole dancing.

Please tell us how you decided to join EPAM and Test IO?

I joined EPAM about 7 years ago as student. I have an engineering degree and I have always been interested in working with something new. At that time, the IT industry was the most progressive and modern area where I could apply my engineering education, so I decided to do an internship there. I joined Test IO because I love non-standard work, where it is necessary to solve interesting tasks and challenges.

Please tell us about your work. What are your daily duties on the platform? What difficulties do you face? What do you like the most about your work?

I am a Community Project Coordinator, my main duties are to help projects find suitable testers. The main difficulty lies in the fact that sometimes it is quite difficult to find the right number of people for a certain customer, since I am mainly looking for testers for unusual projects that use specific devices, such as smart watches, cars, virtual reality helmets. What I like the most about my work is this unusualness, every day I learn something new for myself.

Please share what is planned to be implemented in the near future on the platform? What new projects are you currently working on?

Campaign functionality will soon be fully operational on the platform , at the moment this functionality is still being finalised, it will allow attracting more new testers who have not yet registered on the platform. I am currently working on one potential vehicle testing project, namely the BMW MINI Cooper.

How do you motivate yourself?

Do not envy, I believe that comparing yourself with other people causes envy, and when a person is envious, he cannot be effective and satisfied with his work.
I encourage my small victories with some gifts.

If you could go anywhere, which place would you choose and why?

I would go where there is water and mountains, for example, in Switzerland. I feel calm in the mountains, as if high mountains protect me from problems and I can relax. Most of all now I want peace and the opportunity to relax in safety, so I would now go to Switzerland.

What 3 advices would you give to everyone?

1) Invest in education and yourself
2) Do not demand too much from yourself, if you need rest, then rest
3) Take care of your relationships with your loved ones
