Community Project Coordinator Tetiana
Hello, Tetiana! Please tell us about yourself.
Hello! I am from Ukraine, Lviv! I used to study psychology, but this year I entered the specialty of Cybersecurity, I hope that I will enjoy my studies! I have been working in IT for 6 years, I started as a contributing editor of an online publication, then I worked as a project manager, and then I came to testing. I have been working in testing for more than 4 years and I enjoy my work. When I started working at Test IO, I realized that I am a true fan of my work, I found my place and I devote myself completely to what I do.
I have to say that I love my job! But, of course, sometimes you need to distract yourself and this is where my hobbies come to the rescue! I like to draw, but I'm not good at it, so I buy paintings that are already painted, and I just need to choose a color and draw a number 😊. I also go to the gym and get a massage, everyone who has a sedentary job needs it. I am still learning English and have started learning German. I hardly have free time because there is always something to do.
I also like to travel. The pandemic and the situation in Ukraine now do not allow us to realize all the planned trips, but I am sure that everything will be fine soon!
Please tell us about your work and daily tasks? What difficulties are you facing?
I work as a Community Project Coordinator. I enjoy my work at Test IO! My responsibilities are developing our project business from Community perspective, creating capabilities for new testing types, finding fitting project participants, and coordinating testers within projects! I like to work with people around the world!
Every job has difficulties, but I have to say that it's my pleasure to solve them.
What do you like most about your job? What would you like to change?
I like absolutely everything! I am happy that I work with such wonderful people! If we talk about changes, then my opinion that there is no limit to perfection! There is always something to improve and make things better! Now I would like to have more cooperation with testers! Maybe do more events or so!
We live in a very stressful time. What helps to fight stress?
In fact, it is very difficult to control yourself and be emotionally stable! I am recharged by my family, my cat, and the people I work with! They remind me that everything will pass and will be even better than before, give positive emotions and make me smile!
I always try to be positive and look for good sides in all situations.
Which books would you advise everyone to read?
Now I'm reading this one: Hank Rainwater, Herding Cats: A Primer for Programmers Who Lead Programmers. I can say that book is interesting but a bit complex as well!
Also, I would advise Happy Potter! Of course, many of you have seen films but I can say that books are better! Just believe me!
And one more, I have to say not for everyone but my favorite one is Ray Bradbury, The Martian Chronicles!
