Do you remember a situation when you had a question that a more experienced tester could answer in the test chat and helped you out? Or how a Team Leader went an extra mile explaining what you could improve about your bug report to make sure it gets accepted by the customer?
You can now easily express your appreciation to other testers and Team Leaders by giving them one of our unique test IO badges!
Giving a Badge within a Test
In order to give a badge to a Team Leader or a fellow tester within a test, please follow these steps:
On the test overview page, navigate to the "Team" tab
Note that the "Team" tab will be available only if you've accepted the test invitation and only while the test is running.
2. In the "Team" tab, you will see all the participants of the test. Select a tester or the Team Leader you would like to give a badge to and click on the "Give a badge" button next to their name.
3. In the pop-up window, select one of the badges you would like to give.
If you are giving a badge to the Team Leader, you will see the following selection:
If you are giving a badge to a fellow tester, you will see the following options:
4. In the "Give a badge" pop-up window, write a comment for the badge receiver and click on the "Send badge" button
Et voilà, the badge has been delivered to your teammate!
Giving a Badge from a Tester's Profile Page
You can give a badge to your fellow testers or Team Leaders not only within a test but also outside of a test - directly from the tester's profile page.
Simply navigate to the profile page of the person you would like to share your appreciation with and click on the "Give a badge" button at the bottom of the page.
In the "Give a badge" pop-up window, select one of the following badges:
Then write a short comment and press the "Send badge" button:
Either within or outside of the test, there is no limitation on the number of badges you can send.
Viewing Badges
You can view all of your badges on your tester profile page.
Clicking on Individual badges will open a "Badge Details" pop-up window where you can see how many times you've received a certain badge type, who from and when as well as read the badge comments.

test IO System Badges
We want to celebrate your achievements with you! As a token of our appreciation, we will send you badges for:
Achievements (e.g. # of approved bugs, accepted reproductions, Bug Report Confirmations, bug likes, etc.)
Milestones (e.g. for passing Exploratory Testing, Reproduction, User Story courses, successfully passing the "greenhorn" phase, etc.)
Anniversaries (e.g. # of months/years with test IO)
