Test IO Issuing Platform

Written by Nikola Jonic
Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Issuing platform is a dedicated Test IO space for Real Payments tests, including Active and Passive Tests. In this platform, testers can receive the credit cards issued to them for real payment testing, view transactions of credit cards, view lease responses, and much more regarding the payment testing.

Logging into the platform

If it's your first time visiting the platform, you may be prompted to log in before using this space. Please use the Cirro SSO system to log in, using the same credentials you use when accessing the Test IO platform.

Be aware of scammers and fraudulent links. The issuing platform's official URL is https://issuing.test.io/.

Dashboard

The Dashboard on the Issuing platform consists of:

  • Payment methods: This page displays all payment methods leased by Test IO to you for testing.

  • Addresses: This section shows the addresses associated with your profile for shipping or assignment purposes.

  • Responses: This log captures all activity in Passive Payment Testing — such as card/credential leasing and verification checks. Use this view to trace events by request, country, and method.

  • Tickets: Tickets are raised to notify you of issues with your leased payment methods.

Your Profile

Before you start using your platform, you must update your profile by clicking on your name at the top right of the page and selecting Edit profile.

You will need to provide your first name, last name, email, date of birth, and a working phone number on the Issuing platform. This information is used in case the card 2FA is triggered while completing a purchase, so you need to provide your real data. The information won’t be used for any other purposes.

Task reservation

If you are participating in an active Payment Testing cycle, you must first claim a task before submitting a Purchase or Failed Purchase report.

To do this, navigate to the specific campaign task shared in the test cycle instructions. Once there, claim the task and proceed with completing it.

The overall process is as follows:

  1. Join the Test Cycle

  2. Carefully read all cycle instructions and feature descriptions

  3. After the test cycle starts, go to the Task Reservation page (campaign_tasks) on the Issuing platform

  4. Expand the specific task to read details, and afterward claim a task

  5. Attempt to complete the task by placing an order

  6. Return to the Test Cycle

  7. Submit a Purchase or Failed Purchase report, depending on the outcome

Before claiming a task, make sure you have fully read and understood:

  • Test Instructions

  • Feature Descriptions

  • Task Description

Important: You can only claim one task at a time. Also, after completing the task and submitting a Purchase or Failed Purchase report, please do not cancel the reservation, as this will also remove the previously submitted report.

Viewing Credit Card details & Transaction

When a credit card is issued to you, it will show up on your profile under the Payment methods and Addresses tab.

By clicking the payment method issued to you, a detail page for that payment will open, where you can view the card details and payments made with that payment method.

To view the card details, you need to click on the View card button. Afterward, a new page that will contain Cardholder Name, Card Number, Expiration Date, CVC, and Billing Address will be opened, and you should use those details while making a transaction.

NOTE: You may use the given Credit Card given to you only for a specific testing purpose / specific campaign. Unauthorized usage of the Credit Card is not allowed.

If you need to see some specific details about the transaction itself, or if it is needed to provide some specific details about the transaction in the report, you can open the transaction detail view by clicking on the transaction itself. This will open a JSON file, where you will be able to see different details.

Each transaction will also have its status, such as closed, captured, refunded, etc. You can find out more about the statuses by clicking on the status itself.
